Reviewed personally by Jesse Barrass — Diploma of Building & Construction • former building-company director • current commercial Site Engineer.
Who this is for
- You’re holding quotes right now and something has to be signed soon
- You’re comparing trades and the prices are too far apart to make sense
- One quote feels suspiciously cheap and you can’t see why
Exactly what you get
- Line-by-line written gap summary across up to 3 quotes for one trade package
- Every missing scope item, lowball allowance and exclusion flagged with what it should roughly cost
- A 30-minute call to walk through the findings and exactly what to ask each contractor
- The questions in writing, so you can send them straight to the trades
This is the actual deliverable

Each finding shows the quote line, the gap, and the realistic cost band — the same format as the $6,200 slab example.
From the Savings Ledger
$6,200
Gaps found in a single slab quote — missing pump hire, no rock clause, a piering allowance half the local going rate.

Common questions
What do you need from me?
The quotes (PDF or photos), your drawings if you have them, and a sentence on what the package covers. Upload or email — the 48-hour clock starts when we have them.
Can you review quotes from anywhere in Australia?
Yes. The review is remote and the gaps we look for — scope, allowances, exclusions, provisional sums — are universal, with state-specific pricing context applied where it matters.
Is this legal or contract advice?
No. It is an expert construction review of scope and pricing. Where a clause needs a solicitor, the report says exactly that rather than pretending otherwise.
What if the quotes turn out to be fine?
Then you sign with confidence, which is worth the fee on its own. It happens — and the report will say so plainly rather than inventing problems.
What’s the refund policy?
If we haven’t started the review, full refund, no questions. Once the review is underway the fee stands — the work is the review itself.
